Bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees are available at both public and private educational institutions in the modern Macedonian educational system. 19 institutions offering 311 study programs comprise North Macedonia's higher education system.
Generally speaking, depending on the university and field you have selected, the list of papers you must submit for admission may vary slightly. Generally speaking, to get admitted to a university in Poland, you have to provide the following:
- Copies of your previous diplomas or certificates, including your education certificate.
- Valid Passport
- Proof of English proficiency. For example: IELTS, TOEFL or C1 Advanced certificates. Scores must meet the minimum requirements set by Macedonian universities.

In order to study in North Macedonia, overseas students can apply for a number of scholarships. There are several funding alternatives based on your degree of study and place of origin.
Absolutely, a foreign student enrolled in Macedonia courses may work. To combine their education with employment in Macedonia, they just need to get a work visa. As long as the study permit is in effect, the work permit will also be valid.
If an applicant meets the following requirements, he may apply for a work visa:
- Has a valid residence permit;
- Has been enrolled full-time in a Macedonian institution.
It should be noted that an overseas student is limited to 20 hours of labor per week. On the other hand, they could work nonstop throughout the holidays.
